
Anthony Hall, Manager, Agfarm Solutions
Anthony joined Agfarm in August 2007 and gained a firsthand background in rural life growing up on his parent's mixed farming property (sheep, cattle and fodder) near the town of Bundarra in Northern NSW.
Anthony has many years experience working with suppliers, manufacturers and end users, including broking and working closely with growers. He spent 12 years exporting and marketing wool tops to over 20 different countries around the world, including assisting growers in developing overseas markets. Prior to that, he worked in wool broking in Queensland.
In 2009 Anthony became the Manager of Agfarm Solutions and will supervise the operation of this business unit. Anthony is extremely knowledgeable on logistics and shipping procedures and accessing export markets.
Anthony has a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Charles Sturt University, and a Certificate IV in Agriculture from TAFE.
Alistair Murphy, Regional Manager
Alistair grew up on his family's farm at Talwood in Queensland which is a 5,000 ha mixed cropping and grazing property. Alistair had worked at Agfarm on a temporary basis during the 2005 and 2006 harvests and also as a rural farming contractor between 2004 and 2006 during his student years.
Alistair has a strong background in finance having worked with Suncorp in Moree, NSW from 2007 - 2009 in their specialist agribusiness finance sector. He has a BA in Commerce majoring in Agribusiness and Marketing from the University of New England and is currently employed as the Regional Manager for Agfarm's central region.
Lucy Watson, Account Manager
Lucy originally joined the team in administrative roles in April 2007, and was promoted to Account Manager in 2008.
Before joining Agfarm, Lucy worked in the marketing and business development department of one of Australia's top law firms in Sydney. Lucy’s legal experience has been invaluable in supporting growers through the entire transaction, including contract negotiation and terms and conditions. She also brings invaluable administrative and marketing experience coupled with a very strong focus on customer service.
Lucy’s keen interest in equestrian sports sparked her interest in moving from Sydney to Dubbo, and she made the move in 2007. Upon arrival, Lucy spent her first few months studying and completing a Certificate II in Agriculture at TAFE.
Kylie Edwards, Account Manager
Kylie grew up on her family farm in Adaminaby NSW, farming sheep and beef cattle before moving to Wagga Wagga.
Kylie joined Agfarm as an Account Manager in 2010 after working with the Commonwealth Bank where she has had roles in both business development and agribusiness management. Prior to joining the bank, Kylie worked for the NSW Department of Primary Industries (now I&I) in both trial wheat and the diagnostic and analytical laboratories, testing all varieties of grains, pulses, legumes, forages and silages for their nutritional matter.
Kylie has a degree in Business (Agricultural Commerce) majoring in Agribusiness and Marketing from Charles Sturt University's Orange campus. She has a strong interest in the grains industry and recently relocated to Dubbo to further her career in this field.
