
Rod Burchmann, Manager, Northen Region
Rod brings an in-depth understanding of the agricultural industry here in Australia, with more than twenty years experience in the area. He has an exceptional understanding of the needs of growers and buyers and as an end user. His industry relationships with growers and buyers was established over two decades of involement.
Rod began his career in the grain trading and livestock industry working with Primac. He then joined the Queensland Grain Growers Association, where he further developed his expertise in all areas of trading and accumulating grain and representing the needs of growers. Rod was Commodities Manager for Whyalla feedlot, one of the largest feedlots in Australia, for five years. He also traded and accumulated grain for Conagra and the Caroona feedlot at Quirindi, NSW.
After working for Agfarm in Moree, Rod established Agfarm's Nambour office in 2010 to service clients across the Darling Downs region of South East Queensland.
Daniel Jackman, Account Manager
Daniel joined the Moree team as a Grain and Cotton Marketer in 2008.
Daniel is an agronomist with considerable experience in grain marketing and distribution throughout New South Wales and Queensland. Daniel grew up on his family's Narrabri cattle property before relocating to the Moree area.
Most recently, Daniel was Regional Manager for a summer crop seed company in Moree, where he was responsible for marketing summer crop seeds throughout northern New South Wales and southern Queensland. Prior to that he spent 12 months working for a market leading chemical company in Brisbane.
Daniel has a Bachelor of Agribusiness from the University of New England.
Keith Gundry, Client Services Representative
Keith was born in Ashburton, New Zealand and there gained a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Agricultural Management from Lincoln University.
In 2009 he and his wife decided to move to Australia to experience the Australian rural lifestyle and once here they lived in Moree for 18months where Keith was involved in rugby and water skiing.
Keith then moved to Landsborough in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and began working for Agfarm from our Nambour office.
Keith has spent time working on dairy, sheep and cropping farms in New Zealand as well as seed companies and research organisations. Keith is very well placed to develop a rewarding career within Australia’s agribusiness industry by assisting and servicing the farming community.
Rachael Ring
A Queensland native, Rachael was raised in the Nambour area.
Rachael worked for three years as a grain accumulation agent and administrator in Clermont, Central Queensland before returning to South East Queensland.
Working for Agfarm allowed Rachael to put her knowledge of the local area to use whilst gaining further experience in the grains industry. She was also pleased to be able to work close to her family and is committed to assisting to develop Agfarm's client base in Queensland.
